Relationship Coaching

The most important relationship we have is with ourselves. Next comes everybody else—partners, children, relatives, business associates, medical professionals, former lovers, new lovers, and of course those special people we allow to push every button we have.

The list is long of what motivates a call to Art of Life Coaching for relationship support:

  • Some reasons are painful: Betrayal. Conflicts over such things as money, sex and child raising. The loss of dreams. The fear that our partner won’t accept our choice to grow in a new way. Communication that leaves us feeling we must be speaking a foreign language. Ever-present rage…
  • Some are beautiful: The desire to step into marriage with the confidence that we actually know what we’re doing (as best one can). Same with having children. How to grow intimacy while being separated, as soldiers and their families often are. Discovering a way of both living and working that allows life partners to pursue together a common dream…

Here are a few basics about relationships as seen through the eyes of Art of Life Coaching:

Like everything else in life, relationships are only incidentally about something or someone outside of us. Primarily, relationships are about us individually, and our commitment to love. In every person we know, even those most difficult to accept, we can find a part of ourselves asking to be embraced. Indeed, every obstacle in life is also an opening to greater wholeness, should we choose to step through.

While harmony with others may begin within in our own heart, one key to mutually rewarding relationships is a strong intention held in common. Helping identify that intention and bring it to life is a special faculty of Art of Life Coaching.

Healthy relationships only seem like rocket science. In fact, the principles underlying them are timeless and rather uncomplicated. Nevertheless, all relationships, even the most joyous, take commitment and skill.

Art of Life Coaching helps you develop both.
