Mind Body Services

Chiropractic: It is a common perception that chiropractic therapy is something that is done to our body. In other words, we are recipients of a service. This approach is completely opposite the perspective to chiropractic offered by Art of Life Coaching.

As in every other ALC service, chiropractic is based upon active collaboration. Instead of being recipients, clients are equal participants—perhaps more than equal, since our service is helping a client to have their body function as they intend. Without a client’s intention for themselves, our service cannot realize its full potential.

The cornerstone of Art of Life Coaching’s approach to chiropractic is the quantum principle that we all create our own life—physically, and in every other way. Our body is not a machine, but rather a corporeal manifestation of our entire being. Pain and other forms of physical dysfunction are a call to address whatever spiritual and emotional considerations will serve the inherent excellence of one’s being

For instance, a great deal of physical debility is caused by our belief that we don’t deserve to be healthy, to have the life we really want. If we avoid that issue, and instead focus only on physical symptoms, we may simply become addicted to having a chiropractor “fix” us again and again and again. This approach serves no one long-term.

A client of ALC chiropractic enjoys the luxury of being able to take advantage of the full range of life-affirming services and tools offered by Art of Life Coaching.

Massage: Everything just said about Art of Life Coaching chiropractic applies to ALC massage as well—with a small twist.

As we become more conscious of what it means to be a healthy person, massage, in addition to healing and nourishing our body and mind, also becomes one of the ways we simply honor our physical being.

In this light, massage is an expression of love, of joy, of appreciation, of gratitude—just as a bouquet of flowers might be. Only the recipient is not someone else, but ourselves. This makes some people nervous. And that’s just the point.

There are few more self-destructive beliefs than those that prevent us from celebrating the sacred gift of our physical being, the house in which God, the vibration of unlimited possibility and boundless ever-new love, resides.

Art of Life Coaching massage is no different than any other ALC service in that its ultimate purpose is to remind us who we really are.

Spa: Ditto, except for the baths, wraps, soaks, scrubs and other forms of luxuriance. Our relationship with our skin is a beautiful opportunity to attune ourselves to the essential celebration of life—the continual shedding of the old in order to make room for the new, with deepest reverence for their essential place in our existence.
